Made by one person

I built the tracker I wanted to use.

WeekScale is built by one person. It exists because I wanted a weight tracker that was genuinely focused on the weekly format, and I could not find one that was that ticked all the boxes I cared about.

The short story

I wanted a weight tracker that was hyper-focused on the weekly format: no rolling averages, no dashboard stuffed with features I never used, no ads, no subscription nagging, and no forced account just to use my own data.

When I could not find that, I built it. If you are here for the same reasons, this is probably the tracker you were looking for too.

WeekScale stays simple because a weekly average is already the whole idea.

What WeekScale refuses to be

Those are the values I look for in an app I use myself. I believe in them, so WeekScale is built around them rather than around growth tactics.

  • No subscription — pay once, keep updates
  • No ads, no analytics, no AI gimmicks
  • No account — data stays on your device
  • No data sharing

The only thing WeekScale rewards

WeekScale never judges the number itself. There are no badges for losing weight, no celebrations for reaching a target, and no guilt for gaining. The only thing it positively reinforces is showing up: how many times you weigh in during a week.

Get five or more weigh-ins in a calendar week and the week earns its green card — the same "reliable-week treatment" behind the Reliability Score. That is the whole prize, and it is a prize about the quality of your data, not the number on the scale.

The green card is the only prize. Five or more weigh-ins make a week complete enough to trust. Nothing else in WeekScale is rewarded.

The plan

WeekScale is a solo project, so the scope stays honest. The roadmap is shaped by beta feedback and is mostly UI-focused right now: refining the weekly view, navigation, and the small details that make it calm to use.

From there, the plan is to sync weigh-ins from Apple Health on iOS and Google Health Connect on Android, depending on the platform.

One thing that will never be on the roadmap is a goal weight. I don't want WeekScale to own any part of deciding what a "good" number is for your body — setting one is your call alone, and I won't carry shared responsibility for a target someone sets too low or too high.
